Jack Suggs Joins the Lab!

The lab is thrilled to welcome Jack Suggs for his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering!

Before coming to Stanford, Jack was an undergraduate researcher at the Koch Institute, where he focused on targeted cytokine delivery using antibodies and liposomes in the labs of K. Dane Wittrup and Paula Hammond, respectively. He graduated from MIT in 2024 with a B.S. in Chemical-Biological Engineering and Biology, along with minors in Chemistry and Economics. That same year, he was the recipient of MIT’s Roger de Friez Hunneman Prize in recognition of outstanding research and scholarship.

At Stanford, Jack’s research focuses on engineering biologic therapeutics with enhanced targeting capabilities to improve their delivery to diseased tissue.

Outside of the lab, he enjoys cycling, sailing, and fishing. The lab is already looking forward to him captaining the ship at a future high-tide happy hour.
