Siena Nason Joins the Lab!
We are excited to welcome Siena Nason as the newest member of the lab! She joins us for her Ph.D. thesis research in Cancer Biology and will be co-advised by Sean Bendall.
Before coming to Stanford, Siena completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology at the University of Pennsylvania. There, she used a small molecule epigenetic modifier to enhance CAR-T cells efficacy against a multitude of solid and hematological cancers. She also collaborated on projects such as engineering an anti-CD2 CAR-T product and improving CAR-T regimen with the ketogenic diet.
Now, she is excited to bridge the fields of protein engineering and single cell proteomics.
Siena is originally from North Carolina, and in her free time, she enjoys running, baking, hosting movie nights, and hating otters. The lab is anxiously awaiting an invite to the Shrek-themed party she’s promised to organize.
