Lab Hosted Undergraduate Students this Summer
The lab was delighted to host three Stanford undergraduate students for summer research programs.
Celia Charlton and Jack Campbell have been mentored by Nikita Khlystov since the Spring quarter. Their summer projects are titled, “Leveraging Enzyme Engineering to Make Plastic More Biodegradable,” and, “Engineering Biology for Recycling of Plastic Waste” respectively.
Natalie Greenfield was mentored by Grayson Rodriguez, and her summer project is titled “Optimizing Protein Biotinylation by miniTurbo to Discover Immune Checkpoint Receptor Signaling Partners.”
Natalie and Jack participated in the Bioengineering REU Program, and Celia participated in the Bio-X USRP.
