Congratulations to Alex Real on His Residency Match

We're excited to announce that Cochran lab postdoc Dr. Alex Real has matched into Radiation Oncology at UCSF with a transitional year in internal medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering.  Alex will begin his training in external beam radiation and brachytherapy with the mission of delivering exceptional care to patients with solid-tumor malignancies. He also hopes to continue his research developing small-molecule and protein-based therapeutics for patients with difficult-to-treat cancers.

Alex has been a wonderful addition to the lab, and we will miss him dearly, but we are so proud of him for his successful match! Congratulations, Alex!
